The ensemble "BA-BA-TU" derived from the first syllables of the instruments used in the ensemble (Balalaika, Banjo, Tuba), was created in 1992.
For almost 30 years now, they have been performing not only on the Perm stage but also pleases fans of live music far beyond the borders of their native land.

Nowadays the ensemble consists of seven professional musicians with an extensive stage experience:
Natalia Fedotova - vocals
Sergey Emelyanov - vocals
Viktor Baraksanov - double bass, bass guitar, keyboards, bayan
Vakil Ablakov - drums
Igor Fedotov - vocals, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, balalaika, harmonica, ukulele, folk wind instruments.
Kirill Plakhuta - guitar
Vladimir Tarasov - bayan
The ensemble plays acoustic music based on the folklore of the peoples of the world.
The ensemble's repertoire includes more than two hundred songs and instrumental pieces created by musicians based on folk music and works by composers that are close in the genre.

The ensemble showed their professionalism and charm when participating in the competitions in Smolensk and Orenburg. The musicians have repeatedly travelled abroad to give concerts. They have been to Siauliai, Palanga (Lithuania), Menton, Cannes (France), Beirut (Lebanon), Louisville (USA). They have successfully performed in solo programs. Moscow, Sochi, Gelendzhik, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod, Elabuga, Izhevsk.
