The ROMEN ensemble was founded in 2002.
This is a band of professional musicians with a bright, unique style and original ethnic temperament. The program of the ensemble consists of folk, camp, modern gypsy songs and dances, old Russian and gypsy romances.

Viktor Alekseevich Sukhovskoy, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, diploma winner of the All-Russian Competition of Russian and Gypsy Romance Performers, is the creator and the artistic director of the ensemble.
The group includes artists who are laureates of international dance festivals. Tatyana Cherednichek is the Laureate of the 1st degree of the International Dance Festival - Competition "International Dance Gemes" in Lloret Del Mar (Catalonia, Spain, 2019). Ekaterina Sofina is a Diploma winner and medalist of the 1st degree of the V International Festival - Competition of Gypsy Dance "Za Tsiganskoi Zvezdoi" in Moscow (2018).
The ensemble is a participant of a large number of Russian and international festivals, winner of the following prestigious awards:
Laureate of the 1st degree of the VI International Folklore Festival "Keeping Traditions", St. Petersburg (March 2020)
International Folklore Festival in Germany (2005)
