The Ensemble "Yarmarka" is a professional group, which is based on folk music, song, dance in its author's arrangement and production of their work. A choreographic group, a chorus, and an orchestra are three components of the consistently high level of performances and popularity of the ensemble.
Concert programs and performances of the band are always a combination of different genres - folk vocals, dances, and instrumental performance, which do not leave any spectator indifferent.
The music formation was founded in October 1988. Viktor Kuzminov has been an artistic director since 1988. Now he has the following awards: twice Laureate of the Prize in the field of art and culture of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Krai, Laureate of the Mayor of Perm Prize in the field of culture, Laureate of international festivals and competitions, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia, member of the UNESCO Dance Association.
The ensemble is a laureate of the prize in the field of art and culture of the Perm krai Legislative Assembly for the program "Kozachii krug" (Cossack Circle); as well as a laureate of three international vocal and choral competitions; laureate of the international competition "Folk of Dans", Moscow; laureate of numerous international festivals in France, the USA, England, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, Taiwan.

The Ensemble "Yarmarka" took part in large gala concerts and tours around the cities of Europe, Asia, America. The recitals were successfully held at such venues as the Great recitals: "Galaxy Arena" (5000 seats) - France (Amneville); Arsenal (2000 seats) - France, Metz; Concert Hall in Oxford (Great Britain); "Opera House" (1500 places) - the USA, Seattle; "EuroDisney (2000 places) France, Paris; "Concert Hall" (1000 seats) Mexico, Myocheokan; "Congress Hall" (5000 seats), Taiwan, Taipei city.
